BNW Employee recognized for 30 years of service

Beef Northwest Feeders is pleased to recognize Walter Jendrycka on 30 years of service to the company.

Walter is employed as a cattle truck driver at the company’s feedyard in Quincy, Washington. He began working for Schaake Corporation in the summer of 1978 and continued when Beef Northwest took over management of the Quincy facility in 2001.

During his tenure, it is estimated that Walter has driven over 2.5 million miles and hauled over 450,000 head of cattle.

“Walt sets an example for those of us who work with him. We are so fortunate that he is on our team,” says Ben Velasquez, Quincy yard manager.

In appreciation of his efforts, the company awarded Walter and his wife Mardie an all expense trip to the 2008 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
