BNW Genetic Partners Recognized Nationally

Beef Northwest has fed cattle produced by customers of Thomas Angus Ranch, Harrell Hereford Ranch, and Lorenzen Ranches successfully for many years.

So it only makes sense that we formed alliances with these industry-leading seedstock operations a couple of years ago. All three of these partners have been recognized nationally in the past year for their contributions to the industry and their supperior performance in their respective breeds.

Our relationship with these operations gives us the ability to develop a reliable supply of genetically superior, source and age-verified cattle and we're fortunate to be associated with these top producers. It makes a lot of sense for our customers to be associated with them too.

Alliance participants have several options. They can sell their calves directly to BNW or they can retain ownership of all or a portion of them and sell them on a formula basis through Tyson.

The alliance pays premiums to producers who maintain at least 25% Thomas Angus Ranch, Harrell Hereford Ranch and/or Lorenzen Ranches bulls in their herd bull battery. Premiums increase on a per-head basis as the percentage of alliance genetics increases in your calf. Premiums are paid on cattle that grade 70% Choice or higher and for cattle that qualify for the Japanese market through BNW's age verification program.
